Formerly a director of BZW within the fixed income group, Alan began his executive search career in 1996, developing a strong presence in the credit and fixed income markets of London, Continental Europe and The Far East. He gained ACIB and ISMA qualifications while working at merchant and investment banks such as Kleinwort Benson, BNP and Brown Shipley.
In 2000 he became MD of Sequoia Consulting and continued to develop the business along the lines of retained Executive Search. Careers Coaching and Mentoring of Candidates has become an important stream of activity and, to that end, Alan studied NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and, in 2010, qualified as an NLP Life and Executive Coach through ITS, training with Ian McDermott and Jan Elfine.

Simon Has 25 years experience in the City, starting his career as one of the original members of the ICAP Group of Companies, Simon went on as a founding partner and owner of the Cedef group starting in Geneva which he helped build into an Internationally recognised IDB with offices in London , Geneva, Zurich, Joburg & Sydney specialising initially in all areas of Capital Markets and further expanding the Groups profile in G10 IRS, EMG mkts , Fixed Income, Illiquid Bonds/Asset Swaps &Equity Derivatives.
